DEVOTIONAL TITLE FOR TODAY

“But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.”Isaiah 40:31 (NKJV)

In the kingdom of God, transformation isn’t just about change—it’s about preparation. When God transforms us, He is positioning us for something greater: acceleration into purpose, destiny, and impact.

We often want acceleration without the process. We pray for open doors, breakthrough moments, and sudden favor. But God, in His wisdom, takes us through transformation first. Why? Because acceleration without transformation can crush us. It’s the transformed heart that can carry the weight of accelerated blessing.

Isaiah 40:31 reminds us that those who wait on the Lord—who lean into His presence, trust His timing, and yield to His refining—experience a divine renewal. They don’t just walk—they run. They don’t just run—they soar. Transformation becomes the runway for acceleration.

Joseph went through years of hardship, rejection, and internal refining before he was suddenly elevated to second-in-command in Egypt. David was anointed king as a youth but was transformed through the wilderness before taking the throne. Jesus spent 30 years in obscurity before stepping into three years of accelerated ministry that changed the world.

Transformation builds the character, humility, and dependence on God that are essential for sustained acceleration. It roots us so we won’t be shaken when the pace picks up and the platform expands.

Don’t despise the slow seasons. Let God do the deep work in you. The time spent being transformed is not wasted—it’s preparation. And when the time is right, the Lord will accelerate you, and you’ll move further, faster, with greater grace than you ever imagined.

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

Father, I thank You for the transforming work You are doing in my life. Though it may feel slow, I trust that You are preparing me for something greater. Refine me, shape me, and make me ready. When the time comes, accelerate me according to Your perfect will. I want to run and not grow weary. I want to soar in Your strength. In Jesus’ name, amen.
