Severe Weather Update

A flash flood warning has been issued until Friday for the areas in Green:

Due to the pending threat of the Tropical system heading to projected to head toward Louisiana, Pastor has canceled Bible Study for tomorrow, July 16, to allot everyone time to prepare. The storm is projected to bring impacts to our area anywhere between Wednesday-Friday.

While meteorologists are not expecting major storm effects, they are urging awareness and attention to any changes in the storm’s development. Right now, the most anticipated impact appears to be anticipated rainfall which could contribute to flash flooding.

All in all, Pastor is urging us all to take the time to finalize any preparations even if they are minor just to be on the safe side. It is better to have something and not need it than need it and not have it. Stay connected to your local weather outlets.
