Pastor’s Health Update

To God be the Glory for the Great Things He is Doing!

Thank you, True Vine Christian Center, for your continued prayers and support during my health journey. I wanted to take this time to provide you all with an update on where I am health-wise.

Yesterday, I was blessed with the opportunity to meet with a globally renowned rheumatologist who specializes in the rare disease I was diagnosed with a few months ago. The appointment was very productive and resulted in her starting me on immunosuppressant treatment, while also ordering additional tests to address other concerns.

We are on the right track, and I am grateful for the progress being made. However, I have also been advised of the potential side effects and risks associated with these new treatments. Because of this, I want to share a few updates with you all for the sake of transparency:

  1. The Resuming of Bible Study Has Been Postponed Again

Due to already experiencing some side effects from the treatments, I have decided to postpone the resumption of Bible Study. This will allow me time to properly adjust to the medication and manage any side effects effectively.

  1. Limited Fellowship

Because I am now beginning immunosuppressant therapy, my doctors have advised me to avoid high-contact fellowship without proper precautions such as masking. These medications lower my immune system, making me more susceptible to infections and illness.

With that being said, if you notice any changes in how I interact or fellowship—such as limiting close contact—please do not take offense. This is strictly for health and safety as I navigate this new phase of treatment.

  2. Sunday Presence & Support

My heart and intention is to be present and preaching every Sunday. However, as treatment doses are increased and my body continues to adjust, there may be Sundays where I am not physically able to be present.

In those moments, I ask that you continue to support the ministry, honor any guest speakers, and maintain the spirit of excellence and unity that defines our church. Your faithfulness ensures that ministry continues, regardless of my physical presence on a given Sunday.

Church, I want you to know that I am in good spirits and trusting God every step of the way. This is a journey, but I firmly believe that God is with me in it—and He is with us as a church.

Thank you again for your love, your prayers, and your understanding. Let us continue to move forward together in faith, knowing that God is still in control and still doing great things among us.

With Love and Gratitude,

Pastor Green
