Hello TVCC Family,

Dear True Vine Family,

Grace and peace to each of you!

I am excited to share another important update concerning the future home of True Vine Christian Center. Today, we received the first renderings of what could soon become our new church home, and I wanted our church family to be among the first to see the vision beginning to take shape.

As many of you know, our original plan involved relocating the buildings that were so graciously donated to our ministry. We were extremely grateful for that opportunity and spent considerable time exploring how we could make that plan work. However, after much discussion, research, and receiving professional estimates, we discovered that the cost of moving, transporting, setting, and preparing those buildings would ultimately exceed the value of the buildings themselves.

And because this is the year of PIVOT, we recognized that sometimes a change in the plan does not mean a change in the promise.

So, we PIVOTED!

Rather than investing significant resources into relocating the two existing structures that are depreciating in value, we began seeking quotes for the construction of one new metal building approximately the size of both donated buildings combined. This approach gives us the opportunity to create a facility specifically designed around the present and future needs of our ministry while being responsible stewards of the resources God has entrusted to us.

During this process, our realtor also advised us that the construction of the building could potentially be worked into the overall purchase and financing of the land. After prayer, conversation, and consideration, we believe this provides a much better path forward.

As a result, we are pleased to announce that Mallet Buildings has been selected as the contractor for the proposed project. Today, they provided us with the first renderings of our future church home, which we are excited to share with you.

Church, these are only the first renderings. There will still be conversations, adjustments, decisions, approvals, financing details, and many other steps before everything is finalized. What you see today is not the finished product—it is the first glimpse of a vision that is continuing to develop.

I know this journey has required patience. There have been moments when the plan seemed clear, only for God to redirect us again. But that is exactly what a PIVOT is: remaining committed to the destination while being willing to change direction when wisdom, circumstances, and God’s providence require it.

So I am asking our entire church family to remain patient, prayerful, faithful, and united.

Continue praying.

Continue serving.

Continue giving.

Continue believing.

Continue being faithful to the ministry God has entrusted to us.

We are not simply trying to construct a building. We are building a place where generations will worship, families will be strengthened, children will learn about Jesus, lives will be changed, and our community will experience the love of Christ.

There is still work ahead of us, but I am excited about where we are going. Every conversation, every closed door, every adjustment, and every PIVOT has helped bring greater clarity to the vision.

The plan may have changed, but the promise has not.

Thank you for trusting the process. Thank you for trusting the leadership. Most importantly, thank you for continuing to trust God.

I cannot wait for the day when we look back at these first renderings from inside the building God allowed us to build and say together:

“Look what the Lord has done!”

The future of True Vine Christian Center is bright, and by faith, we are building toward it together.

As a reminder: We will resume in-person worship EVERY Sunday starting on September 13, 2026 @ 9am at the City of Gonzales’ new Freeland Jackson Center 1400 S. Darla Ave. This will be a temporary, cost effective option for us to resume regular in-person church until our new home is officially settled.
